Frequently Asked Questions

1.) How do I contact you?

Email me at rhianna.lavalla.art@gmail.com and I’ll almost always get back to you within 24 hours!

2.) How do I buy an original?

As a student with a full time job, I create as many paintings and pieces as possible. I publish a few collections per year which are posted on Instagram beforehand, and an email blast goes out when they’re live.

Currently available one-off originals are available here. These are one-off paintings that occur when inspiration strikes and they don’t fit into one of my planned collections. Sign up for my email list if you want to know the second they’re posted.

3.) Can I commission a painting?

Absolutely! Custom paintings are one of my favorite things to do. Email me to discuss your needs and ideas. I have options for everyone and every budget, and it’s probably not as unattainable as you might think! Making art available and affordable for everyone is extremely important to me.

4.) How is my beautiful new art going to be shipped?

Canvases & Things With Frames:

  • All canvas and framed artwork is padded well to avoid dings and dents, and then sent in a sturdy shipping box. Most artwork will ship via UPS (the shipping includes tracking & insurance). If your artwork arrives damaged in any way please send an email our way and we’ll make it right!

  • If you prefer the painting to ship un-stretched in a thick tube, email me for a quote. You’ll need to work with a local framer to rebuild the frame and stretch the canvas which can cost upwards of $100 depending on the size of the painting. This can be more cost effective for large commissions and large pieces in general.

Paper:

  • All paintings on paper are carefully wrapped in a plastic sleeve. You’re then able to put the paintings in a normal frame or even have them custom framed locally!

  • Small paintings are mailed in a flat mailer while larger paintings are mailed in a thick tube. Most paper items will ship via USPS.

International Shipping:

  • Please email me for a quote before you buy, I don’t want you to overpay on shipping!

5.) Can I pick up my artwork or have it hand delivered if I live locally?

Absolutely!  You are more than welcome to pick up your new artwork at my home studio in Argyle, Texas. Use code “Pickup” at checkout to avoid shipping fees and email me to schedule a time to meet.

If you’d rather have me hand deliver and hang your new painting for you, choose hand delivery at checkout and email me to schedule a delivery date. Not everyone is handy so I’m happy to help you avoid damaging your walls :) Please know that I am a PhD student and also have a full time job in addition to my studio work, so meeting times can be limited. But we will always make it work!

6.) Returns

Every order, commission, and sale is handled with care and as much transparency as possible. My goal is for you to be completely in love with your purchase!  Because of this, all sales are final except in limited situations.  Please email me if you have questions or concerns with your piece. I try my best to represent the colors, textures, and tones in my work honestly and clearly, so try to look at the images on multiple screens to ensure you get the most comprehensive view.

7.) Workshops & Classes

I love to host painting workshops, classes, and retreats at local venues and destination locations! Like many things above, email me at rhianna.lavalla.art@gmail.com and we can discuss your needs.

8.) Art Galleries

I am honored you would like to represent and display my artwork!  Please send me an email to discuss your gallery and ideas. I will always make a custom collection tailored to your space, clientele, and aesthetic.

9.) Interior Designers

…are some of my favorite people to work with! I adore seeing my pieces in well curated rooms.

I do offer interior designers a discount on multi-piece purchases. Email me at rhianna.lavalla.art@gmail.com so I can better understand your space and vision.

Lastly, I retain all rights to all of the artwork I create. This does include the rights to the images of sold & commissioned original paintings. The buyer or reseller may not reproduce the artwork in any way without my written permission.

Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing the full or partial rights to your new painting.  Some collectors purchase the right to reproduce the artwork not with the intention of actually reproducing it, but to ensure that their one of a kind piece can never become a print, and can never be reproduced on my website. Email me to discuss more details.
